I added more pictures I took while I was in Istanbul. Most of these pictures show the Aya or Hagia Sofia Museum which used to be a mosque and originally was a Church. Some of the pictures show the typical delicious Turkish desserts and fruits. One thing you notice when visiting Istanbul not only the rich culture but also the modernity, the cleanliness, the creativity and the originality on how they construct building or display and present their food.
Another important thing about Istanbul is the tolerance in many aspects of their lives. For instance, although Turkey is a Muslim country but you don’t feel that’s conservative. Couples are not afraid to show affection in public in Turkey, while it might be a taboo or forbidden to see that in other Muslim countries. The best way to describe Turkey when talking about social aspect of their lives is, to live and let others lives.
