#135 the Pyramids of Teotihuacan and Cathedral de Guadalupe
Mexico City is huge, and has so many things to see. It takes a week or more to get to see the city and you won’t be able to see everything, for instance the city has more than 50 museums it may take a month to go visit each one of them.
I went to visit a pyramid, that’s located just on the suburbs of Mexico City, it took one hour to get there not because of traffic but Mexico City is 80KM long by 60KM width. Central America and Mexico are known for many pyramids some from the Mayan civilization or other indigenous people. I went to Teotihuacan and it was a hot day but the site is really impressive. Teotihuacan is a little town nowadays, but it used to be the largest city in pre-Colombian times.
I also visited Cathedral de Guadalupe which considered the most religious place in Latin America for the followers of the Catholic faith. The site was built by a native Indian of that region after seeing a revelation. Few years ago, he was made a saint and he’s the only native Indian to be a saint in the catholic faith.
Mexican people are very helpful and very social, they always like to chat and help, sometimes when others see me asking a question they will come and assist or they will explain more. Really amazing people and amazing country.
