#54 – China – Zhujiajiao – a water town
I don’t have much to say on this post, but you can check out the nice pictures. I took these pictures when I visited Zhujiajiao a little water town similar to Venice or Amsterdam, where you see the houses and the shops on both sides of the water canals. Very nice scenery and people are very nice, throughout my travel I found small towns’ people friendlier and more patient than in the big cities. One of the most fascinating things about china is that every place you visit has thousands of years of history. If you compare this town to others you might think it’s new, it has only 1200 years of history 🙂
P.S. You might have heard about the subway train accident in Shanghai, no need to worry, I am not in Shanghai anymore. Line 10 where the accident occurred is the most recent one. I took it many times and I was really impressed by it. Accidents always happen and I am still impressed with the transportation system that china has.
