It’s been few days since I blogged, so this post refer to my trip I took on April 5. I was very lucky I didn’t miss my flight. I took the bus from Quebec to Montreal (MTL). My flight was scheduled for 7:50PM. The first bus I could catch from Quebec was at 3:30PM, thinking that I will have plenty of time until the ticketing agent told me that I will get to the airport in MTL at 7:45PM. I decided to just take the bus to downtown MTL and just take a taxi to the airport hoping I will make it. I was very afraid all the way till the airport that I won’t make it.
I got on the flight to Vancouver and it was a smooth flight. I waited in Vancouver for 5 hours for my next flight to Beijing. The flight to Beijing was 15 hours. I was surprised that the airplane was half empty, which allowed almost everyone to have 2 seats. If you travel with airlines outside north America you noticed how the service is very bad with north American flights. They charge you for everything from head phones to meals, luckily water and the use of washroom is still free 🙂 Not to mention the customer service, check out this link it ranks the meanest airlines
Beijing’s Airport is huge, I never seen any other airport of that size. After a short layover, I continued the flight to Taipei, Taiwan. We got to Taipei and took the bus to the place where I was staying. All the people I met throught the trip and in Taipei were very friendly. Taipei people are very polite and very friendly, they will go out of their way to make a guest happy and comfortable.
